Right Study Materials for RRB group d exam
If possible try to join any coaching centre whether it is offline or online. Otherwise you can also study from youtube. However I will suggest some books on my experience which are not mandatory but will definitely help the beginners.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning - I will suggest first reading the basic concept. There are already hundreds of videos available on youtube by different reputed teachers. Then you can practice it from any previous year's books. Like kiran publication, pinnacle publication previous books or Ankit Bhati RRB NTPC & Group-D Reasoning.
- Mathematics - For mathematics I will suggest to complete all the concepts then try to practice rrb group d previous years books whether is it kiran publication or pinnacle publication’s previous years book. For quick revision of all the concepts and formulas I will suggest the formula book by Aditya Ranjan sir.
- General awareness & current affairs and General Science - For current affairs you can read monthly current affairs compilation by any of the coaching centers. For General awareness and General Science you should read the NCERT books if possible otherwise you can read Lucent’s gk book and can practice it through any of the previous years books.
Practice Previous Year Question Papers & Attempt Mock Tests
I have already suggested some of the previous year's books because you can not know the question quality and difficulty level until you practice it. With this practicing the previous year's book you should also attempt the mock test. Because by giving a mock test you will know exactly what your current level of preparation is. After giving a mock test you have to also analyse what are your weak and strong topics and you can focus on that topic.
However, I think you have understood the full process of the RRB group D exam. Remember you have to really work hard to get success. Because lakhs of students appeared for this exam and only few of them got selected, the competition will be very tough. So you have to practice more and more. Through practice you will also learn the time management and art of skipping tough questions. I think if you are a beginner then this article teaches you a lot to start your railway journey. Therefore, at last I will practice previous year questions and give mock tests as much as possible to clear this exam.
